More about the Author

Muskaan Nanda started blogging years ago at the age of 16 when she first discovered her passion for story-telling and the narrative.

  • She is currently double-majoring in Neuroscience and Creative Writing for her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Riverside.
  • She has a tremendous love of fitness (cross-country, swimming, getting swole at the gym) and chocolate-filled croissants (the ones you get imported from France).
  • She loves traveling and pondering in the dark for hours in her quiet bedroom for the cure to global hunger and Netflix addictions.
  • Maybe someday she will write a completed story, something that she can call beloved, but until then, she bleeds on.

And only together with this unique combination, this blog is created. Enjoy!

Author’s Note: College has made it hard for me to blog every day, but I try to update my blog with new posts once or twice a month. If I haven’t updated for a while, I am probably working on my super awesome bucket list.

Yes…I started a bucket list.

I have a terrible memory, so it helps me organize all the crazy thoughts, ideas, and activities I experience and to be able to share all my adventures and stories with the world.

You can find my bucket list link here, and if you have any questions or want me to add something to my bucket list, please comment below or shoot me an email at!

Hey there, good luck with starting your writing “career” 🙂 Main thing is just to keep at what you want to do, with a little bit of luck and hard work, success will reach you on it’s own …

    Keep in touch …

Hey, yeah I love your blog.. And by the way… Your commencement speech was awesome! I gave a graduation speech for my class this past June, and it was terrifying.. Totally worth it though, and I can tell you enjoyed giving the commencement speech just as much! Congrats and best wishes!

Lily is what I go by in real life. Leung is my last name. Hafong is my Chinese first name. So…any! 🙂

Thank you so much! I am just lucky to have many many role-models who have guided me well. I hope you continue to inspire others with your art, running, and teaching too!

Hi Aditi. Haha, thank you! Honestly, I spend close to a month to make that bucket list, and I still feel like I have left so many things out.. If you want to send a link or something to your blog post, I’d really love to see your bucket list too!
